Welcome to Waleef. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the app or website. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Waleef, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Waleef.
1. About Waleef
Waleef is a community platform for pet owners and animal lovers. It lets you share posts, discover pets available for adoption, find mating partners for pets, join contests, interact with other users through likes and comments, message other members, and explore nearby pet-related services such as clinics and stores.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use Waleef. By using the service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to use it. If you use Waleef on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Sign-in is provided through trusted third-party providers (such as Google and Apple). You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By posting User Content you grant Waleef a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the service for the purpose of operating and promoting Waleef. You are solely responsible for the content you share and confirm that you have the rights to share it.
5. Acceptable Use
When using Waleef you agree NOT to:
- Post content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
- Upload images or information you do not own or have permission to use.
- Promote animal cruelty, illegal sales, or any activity that endangers the welfare of animals.
- Impersonate any person, organization, or pet, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use fake accounts, bots, or any method to manipulate likes, votes, comments, or contest results.
- Spam, advertise, or distribute unsolicited promotional material without authorization.
- Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with the app's systems, security, or other users' accounts.
- Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent.
6. Adoptions and Matings
Waleef provides listings to help connect pet owners. Waleef is not a party to any adoption, sale, rehoming, or mating arrangement made between users. We do not verify the health, temperament, ownership, or legal status of any animal. Any agreement, transaction, or meeting arranged through Waleef is solely between the users involved, and you participate at your own risk. Always follow local laws and animal welfare regulations.
7. Contests
Contests on Waleef are subject to additional rules shown within each contest. In general: each user may submit one entry per contest, each entry may contain one photo, captions may be limited in length, and each user may cast a limited number of support votes per contest. Fair play is required. Waleef may review, remove, or disqualify any entry that violates the contest rules or these terms, and Waleef's decisions regarding eligibility and winners are final. Prizes are awarded as described in each contest.
8. Services, Clinics, and Stores
Waleef may display third-party services such as clinics and stores. These listings are provided for convenience only. Waleef does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any third-party service, product, advice, or treatment. Any dealings with these third parties are solely between you and them.
9. Messaging and Interactions
You are responsible for your communications with other users. Do not share sensitive personal information you are not comfortable making known. Report any abusive or suspicious behavior using the in-app tools. We may review reported content to keep the community safe.
10. Content Moderation
We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, review, edit, or remove any content at our discretion, including content that violates these terms or that we consider harmful to the community. We may also suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these terms.
11. Intellectual Property
The Waleef name, logo, design, and all software and content provided by us are owned by Waleef and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or website without our written permission.
12. Privacy
Your use of Waleef is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Waleef you consent to the collection and use of your data as described there.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Waleef is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content is accurate or reliable. You use Waleef at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waleef and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service, your interactions with other users, or any adoption, mating, contest, or third-party service arranged through Waleef.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make significant changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example within the app or on this page. Your continued use of Waleef after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Termination
You may stop using Waleef at any time and may delete your account from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Certain provisions, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply after termination.
